  Yum. I cannot believe that we are the only two girls in the Northern Hemisphere who enjoy a nice beverage! I rather enjoy a good old manhattan:
  
  2 oz rye whiskey
  1 oz sweet vermouth
  3 drops bitters
  
  place in shaker with plenty of ice, shake, pour into chilled martini glass and garnish with rye soaked cherry.

    I could always go for a manhattan, especially with a cherry in the bottom. However as a broke ass college student, one of my favorites went like this:
    
    some ice
    2 oz Vodka (cheap stuff is ok, you cant tast it)
    Fill the rest of the glass up with 7up or sprite
    add 1/4 - 1/2 oz grenadine
    
    And presto, you have a vodka shirley temple.

  Here's one I made with leftovers one day:
  
  Take one Sobe Lizard Blizzard
  Add Vodka (to taste)
  Stir around
  Consume
  
  Just cause of it's color tranparancy, this drink did get named "Liz Jizz"

    lychee infused martinis.
    
    This may seem like a country version of the fancy stuff sold in restaurants but it works for me.
    
    Take half a can of lychees. Add it toa 750 ml bottle of stoly or cheaper if you wish. For some sweet taste, add 1/4 r less of the sweet syrup as well (not all). Infuse it for a week. Then shake it with ice.
